D15B1 for D15B7 and D16A6 Engine Swap
Long time no see... Too bad as it was supposed to be my tool keep track of things. And things got out of control...
What is new?
Upholstery department: will be getting civic si pans hopefully soon from Mike (what an excellent trade idea that was), and if they bolt right in - I will put my crx seats in. Other option - hmmm, I bought a set of leather seats from saturn ion in an excellent shape, and super comfy. Of course pans and rails do not match so I will have to think about it...
(Picture coming soon...)
I have taken a bunch of pictures so I should probably glue them in here.
I also joined multiple blog sites, some better then the others, but definitely a great way to find answers to some questions and encouragement for the build. Honda-Tech: http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/2406761

Finally some action! Civic upholstery.
It has been a while. I am slowly getting back into it, though. So, being a neatness freak (or OCD some might say) I decided tackle the interior. First item to address are the seats. I was bit tired of my butt sticking to the duct tape, did not enjoy the seat covers much and unwilling to pay tons of money for dream seats I went the reasonable way - junk yard and my own two hands. To my amazement, I came across not 1 but 2 crx si's (!!!). And that is at the place that is barely a block in size! Well, they both came with front seats, but only one passenger seat was rip free and with a solid bolster foam. Did not dwell on it too much just picked all four of them, and now I have donor foam, tracks, and fabric to play with.
